Chamber of Commerce
Chamber of Commerce Mission Statement
The Menifee Valley Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to supporting and promoting
local business enterprise, encouraging communication and cooperation between
businesses and residents within the area, and initiating programs for the
development and economic growth of the community which enhances the quality of
life and welfare of all who live and work within our sphere of influence.
Two Primary Functions of the Chamber

To act as a voice for the business and professional community and translate the
collective thinking of our members into action.

To render specific services of a type that can be most effectively provided by
a community organization that benefits our members and the community as a
whole.
Objectives of the Chamber:

To coordinate the efforts of commerce, industry and the professions in
maintaining and strengthening a sound and healthy business climate in the
Menifee Valley area.

To provide creative business leadership and effective coordination of all
interested parties in solving community problems and in initiating constructive
community action.

To sponsor programs and activities which will provide development of the human
and economic resources in our community.

To create broad understanding and appreciation of the great opportunities in
the Menifee Valley area, and to promote the advantages and assets or our
community.
How We Are Financed

Membership Investment Dues represents approximately 44% of the chamber's
revenue. |

Non-dues revenue include advertising, maps and membership address labels. |

Fund-raising activities, such as the Annual TGIF Golf Tournament, Annual Awards
Gala SummerFest, Monthly Mixers and the Honorary Mayor's contest allow us to
fund programs that promote Menifee valley, promote our members, improve the
economic climate of the region and to be an active advocate on behalf of our
members. The maintenance of an adequate level of support from all business and
professional interests in the community is essential to finance the programs
that are vital to business growth and development.
