MENIFEE VALLEY CHAMBER WELCOMES DOROTHY WOLONS AS NEW PRESIDENT & CEO

The Menifee Valley chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the hiring of a new President and CEO, Dorothy Wolons. Ms. Wolons brings years of business management, sales and marketing experience to the Chamber, which has been serving the greater Sun City - Menifee Valley area for 35 years.

Most recently, Ms. Wolons was National Sales Manager for Kraft Klub in Montclair where she managed sales and marketing nationwide for this wholesal3e manufacturer. She also owns and operates The Barn, a retail gift shop located in historic Old Town Temecula.

As the successful owner/operator if retail businesses since 1997, she understands the challenges growing businesses face in our rapidly expanding communities. She sees chamber membership as offering some of the best value for the dollars of small businesses and will be striving to further enrich the support and opportunities chamber membership can provide them.

As a marketing manager for two large wholesale manufacturers and distributors, she also understands the large business perspective and the unique advantages the Menifee Valley offers through its strategic location tin the center of one of the most rapidly growing areas in the nation with easy access to transportation hubs for nationwide distribution. She also understands the importance of consistent Quality customer service in today's competitive environments.

Ms. Wolons earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at Wayne State University, majoring in journalism with an emphasis in marketing and advertising. While there, she also served as President of Women in Communications.

Dorothy and her three children, John, Jordan, Jurnie, live in Menifee. Preserving the quality of life in our community is important to her and she looks forward to participating in the Chamber's efforts regarding city hood.
