AB 87 / SB 113 (Committee on Budget and Fiscal Review): Economic Relief: COVID-19 Pandemic
Cal Chamber requested support from the SWCLC via a coalition letter. The SWCLC took the action of supporting and participating in a coalition letter.

AB 1761 (Voepel): Employment - Flexible Work Schedule
Cal Chamber requested support for AB 1761. The SWCLC took the action of supporting and participating in a coalition letter.

Support for Southern California Water Infrastructure Funding Requests for Fiscal Year 2022-2023
Metropolitan Water District of Southern California requested support via participation in letter. The SWCLC took the action of participating in the requested letter.

AB 1001 (Garcia/Gardens)Environment - Mitigation Measures for Air and Water Quality Impacts - Environmental Justice
Cal Chamber requested for the SWCLC to oppose AB 1001. The SWCLC took the action of opposing AB 1001.

AB 257 Oppose Coalition (Holden): Food Facilities and Employment
Stop the Takeout Takeover requested the SWCLC join their coalition. The SWCLC took the action of opposing AB 257.

AB 1748 (Seyarto)Exempt Surplus Land - Regional Housing Need
The city of Murrieta requested support for AB 1748. The SWCLC took the action of supporting AB 1748

AB 1845 (Calderon): Metropolitan Water District of Southern California - Alternative Project Delivery Methods
Metropolitan Water District of Southern California requests support for AB 1845. The SWCLC took the action of supporting AB 1845

Restaurant Revitalization Fund
California Restaurant Association requests support for fund. The SWCLC took the action of supporting the Restaurant Revitalization Fund.

Net Energy Metering (NEM 3.0)
The proposed bill would have changed contract lengths for home solar energy programs. No action was taken.

Assembly Member Alex Lee requested support. The SWCLC took no action on the matter.

Coalition to Repeal the Death Tax: Prop 19, 2020
The Coalition to Repeal the Death Tax requested for the SWCLC to oppose The Death Tax.  No action was taken.

Coalition to Stop Dialysis Proposition
The Coalition to Stop Dialysis Proposition requested for the SWCLC to oppose. The SWCLC took the action of opposing.

California Sports Betting Initiatives
Various gaming and gambling initiatives were discussed relating to sports betting. The SWCLC agreed to discuss this further at a future date.
