Menifee Street Project and Construction Updates

MENIFEE, CA - The City has project and construction updates to share with the community:

Murrieta Road at Newport Road
Daytime work continues for sidewalk repairs and leaks repairs on the new water line. Traffic control will be in place as needed. Please visit www.emwd.org/MurrietaRoad for additional updates on this project.

Murrieta Road and Sun City Boulevard – Traffic Signal Improvements – Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Project
This project has been completed and all traffic lanes are open.

Scott Road between Menifee Road and Briggs Road – Sumac Ridge Utility Work
Roadwork on Scott Road and Lindenberger Road has been completed and all traffic lanes are open. No additional traffic impacts are expected from this project.

Garbani Road and Menifee Road – Traffic Signal Improvements
Traffic signal improvement work continues for this project. Temporary traffic control is expected to remain in place as necessary through February 2023.

Newport Road and Murrieta Road – SCE Vault and Conduit Installation
This project has been completed.

Murrieta Road at Rouse Road – Traffic Signal Improvement Project
This project has been completed and all traffic lanes are open.

La Piedra Road at Menifee Road – Traffic Signal Improvement Project
This project has been completed and all traffic lanes are open.

McCall Square Traffic Signal
Work continues on the traffic signal and median at McCall Boulevard and Ranch Road as part of the McCall Square project. Construction is expected to continue through December.

*NEW* Lazy Creek and Sun City Boulevard Pedestrian Improvement Project
The City is currently removing and replacing ADA ramps throughout the Lazy Creek neighborhood. Ramp replacement work is expected to begin along Sun City Boulevard the week of December 12. Traffic control will be in place at various locations as necessary.

*NEW* SoCal Gas Company – Gas Line Installation Project
SoCal Gas Company will be performing installation of new pipeline infrastructure in the vicinity of Evans Road and Lazy Creek. Lane closures are expected to occur for the next several months to support the project.
